The Dome-Kwabenya Member of Parliament, Sarah Adwoa Safo, has been listed as missing by the Parliamentary Privileges Committee after she failed to appear before them.
Kennedy Agyapong, Henry Quartey, and Adwoa Safo, three New Patriotic Party lawmakers, were dragged before the privileges committee of parliament for neglecting to attend to the work of the house for more than 15 days in a session.
- The issue of Adwoa Safo is solely political; the NPP wants to protect the majority of one – Bawah Mogtari.
- According to the report, 50.3 percent of people are extremely inclined to vote for Adwoa Safo again.
Kweku George Ricketts-Hagan, the committee’s ranking member, claims that by declining their invitation, he has shown the committee a lack of respect.
“In my opinion, we have tried everything. When you sign up to become a member here, we have all of your information, including where to find you, your email address, and your phone number.
“When you are travelling you also give additional information because your traveling address will not be on your data in Parliament so you provide where you are.
“So this is the information that is available to us and that is what we have exhausted.
