The Tory leader and British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has announced his resignation.
This would necessitate the election of a new Prime Minister for the UK.
However, Prime Minister Johnson will remain in charge until a replacement is chosen.
“Being prime minister is an education in itself – I’ve traveled to every area of the UK and I’ve discovered so many individuals with such infinite British ingenuity and so prepared to approach old problems in fresh ways.
Even though the present can occasionally feel bleak, Johnson asserts that their future together is bright.
The former Mayor of London expressed gratitude to Britons for his term in office, which began immediately after Brexit.
“Above all, I want to thank you, the British public, for the immense privilege you have given me.”
