Tokyo 2020: Nadia Eke to lead Team Ghana as flagbearer at Opening Ceremony

Triple Jumper Nadia Eke will be Ghana’s flagbearer during at opening ceremony of the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games in Japan.

Miss Farida Idriss Administrative Manager of the Ghana Olympic Committee (GOC), disclosed this to the communications team of the Committee.

She said Eke would lead Ghana to display their rich culture in Japan on July 23.

Miss Idriss revealed that that Sulemanu Tetteh, skipper of the national boxing team who is having his second Olympic appearance would be named Captain of the contingent.

The 2020 Olympic Games was postponed to 2021 and starts from July 23 to August 8.

The Black Bombers begin the campaign on July 24, with sensational Samuel Takyi.
