Mr. Lawrence Odartey Amuzu, the Team Manager of Superior Academy FC at Dzatsui Newtown has appealed to the Member of Parliament for Nsawam-Adoagyiri to assist them to refurbish their football pitch.
He said there were a number of gifted young footballers within the communities in the area and that when the field was put into a good shape it would help promote football among the youth who would be useful in the premier and the national teams.
Mr. Amuzu made the appeal in an interview with GNA Sports when he presented football kits to the players of the club at Dzatsui Newtown in the Nsawam-Adoagyiri Municipality of the Eastern Region.

He said as a football enthusiast for 12 years, he had helped trained footballers like Patrick Fia who is now with Accra Red Lions and Daniel Akambeck with Bonan FC in the Ashanti Region and entreated football lovers and philanthropists to assist his team.
Mr. Love Alister, the former Presiding Member of the Ga West Municipality who graced the occasion urged parents to allow their children to take part in sporting activities for them to unearth their talents, which could be their career in the future.
