Police are looking into Man City star Erling Haaland’s claims of using a phone while driving.

Erling Haaland appears to be using his phone while driving, according to photographs that the Greater Manchester Police have stated they are aware of.

Erling Haaland, a striker for Manchester City, is being investigated by police for allegedly using a phone while operating a vehicle.

Images and video that appeared to show the Norway international in his car during an altercation that happened on March 15 close to the Etihad Stadium were published by The Sun tabloid on Monday.

In response to the Haaland report, Greater Manchester Police stated they are “informed and investigating” the claimed occurrence.

If the striker is found guilty, he may be fined £200 and given six points on his licence.

Haaland, who cost £51 million ($63 million) to transfer from Borussia Dortmund to Manchester City during the summer transfer window, has been a big success in the Premier League.

The 22-year-old has scored 28 goals in the competition so far in 2022–23, and in just 37 games in all competitions throughout his first season, he has totaled 42 goals for City.

Due to a groyne issue, Haaland withdrew from joining up with Norway during the international break. It is uncertain if he will be ready to play when Manchester City takes on Liverpool on Saturday.
