Ofosu Adjare maintains Techiman North parliamentary seat for NDC

Lawyer Elizabeth Ofosu Adjare, the National Democratic Congress (NDC)’s incumbent Member of Parliament for Techiman North constituency in the Bono East Region, has retained the seat in the just-ended parliamentary election.  
She secured 22,513 votes to outpace the New Patriotic Party’s parliamentary candidate, Mr Martin Oti Gyarko who had 19,214 votes, with an independent candidate, Frank Asare obtaining 361 votes.
