MTN launches football quiz to boost interest in FA Cup

Date:

Headline Sponsors of MTN FA Cup in partnership with the Ghana Football Association (GFA), have introduced an online football quiz for football fans to whip up enthusiasm in the competition.

The competition would present football fans with attractive prizes, as the competition nears its end.

The initiative is expected to commence during the quarter-finals of the MTN FA Cup competition where the qualified clubs would know their opponents on Thursday, July 15.

In all, eight clubs including Premier League champions, Accra Hearts of Oak, perennial rivals Asante Kotoko, Medeama SC, and Ashanti gold and two other lower-tier clubs have qualified to the last eight.

This season, Ghanaian football fans are presented with a platform to show display their knowledge in Ghana football to win enviable prizes which include cash and iPhones from MTN by participating in the MTN FA Cup HottSeat Challenge.

Per the rules, a fan can compete with friends on the MTN FA Cup leaderboard by playing in the HottSeat challenge on their phones. This is done by downloading from Play Store or on the internet or https://bit.ly/mtnfahottseat to register and start winning instant cash or a new iPhone 12 Pro Max weekly.

The quiz would consist of 15 questions with four multiple-choice answers, where the participant must attempt to answer all questions on a scale of 100 to 1 million points.

According to MTN, 20 fans would be rewarded weekly. The 4th to 20th person will receive instant cash via mobile money whilst the top three will be invited for a live draw to be rewarded.

The ultimate weekly winner would be crowned the Ghana Football champion of the week and holds the MTN FA Cup Hottseat Trophy which he or she keeps until another winner beats them the following week.
