Early Life
Growing up in a Catholic home, my grandmother taught me how to recite the rosary in Fante, which has been one of my basics growing up as a Christian. Fellowshipping was a regular activity but there was no desire, we used to race with the rosary prayers just to go and watch Television.
Were From The Music Thing
Back in school I had female friends who used to sing songs by Westlife, Celine Dion and other secular songs. They taught me how to sing, then I realized that I was buying books full of lyrics just to learn some of the songs.
I had no desire to join the school choir even though my two sisters had joined before, but I got recruited and it was working.
In Junior High School I fell inlove with hiphop and I began rattling some of the songs.
Creating beat with my desk and singing along was one of the ways I used to entertain the class. My rap skill got better, I started writing songs and going in for battles.
In JHS three I had a rap battle with Trozo, Brukina hitmaker, he was then in his final year at Mfantsipim SHS.
I was singing and rapping all the time , I became addicted. Along the line basketball started creeping in because of my big brother’s influence and it became a passion, we had the American dream.

I nearly dropped music after watching an Illuminati documentary in the music industry and also being preached to just to stop hiphop. In my first year in SHS I was already a star in the school, my basketball and rap game had gotten better.
I featured in couple of school mixtapes and performed as well during entertainment. In school everybody thought I was going to become the entertainment prefect, well I picked a sport prefect form.
During my interview as a sport prefect candidate, I was asked to rap. I wasn’t given any position in the school. I captained the school basketball team and caught the eye of many hearts.
Along the line I lost my brother and things started changing. My hopes to play in the NBA became jaded but I didn’t stop playing. I was recruited to join the regional team, were I won some accolades.
How I Met Jesus
In SHS I bought an MP3 player, by default there were gospel songs on it. This is were I discovered Hillsong United and Darlene Zschech. Their songs kept speaking to me and I was developing a heart for God. But still I was filled with sin, I was always fornicating and never felt guilty.
I used to have the dream of becoming a star so that I would date top models and other female stars. I had a lot of girlfriends, I became a womanizer and ladies kept fighting over me.
One Saturday afternoon I had finished fornicating with a lady, on our way out I met shepherds from Lighthouse, they preached to me and invited me to church.
I wasn’t willing to let go of the things that I used to do to please my flesh.
The following Sunday I made an attempt to go to the church, I went and gave my life to Christ.
Ever since I’ve never regretted giving my life to Christ.
What it Means To Become A Shepherd
Bishop Jake Godwyll and Lady Rev. Keziah Godwyll mentored and counseled me. They helped my music to grow, from being a canal sound to spiritually filled music. I became transformed through the new believers school, received the Holy Spirit and understood many things.
Things got worse at home but the issues of life didn’t stop the will of God from manifesting in my life. I became a man of prayer, I fought battles which were beyond me with prayers.
I had shepherds who guided me and prayed for me as well. I became the Firstlove choir and dancing star shepherd at my school branch.
By the grace of God I’m currently shepherding the Lion Of Judah Cathedral dancing stars and a member of the choir as well.

A Hard Follower
I’ve been a hard follower of Bishop Dag Heward-Mills and other men of God who are connected to Him, like Archbishop Nicholas Duncan Williams and other UD bishops.
During my national service I served as a missionary as well, I helped the church at where I was and I’ve been purposeful through the ministry of Bishop Dag Heward Mills and Bishop Jake Godwyll. I still minister at the Firstlove Branch In Cape Coast and it’s all been a privilege and a blessing.
