Spezia Calcio attacker Emmanuel Gyasi says he is proud to make his international debut for the Black Stars as Ghana qualified for the AFCON next year.
The Italy-born attacker marked his dream debut with an impressive performance to help Ghana hold South Africa at the FNB stadium in Johannesburg on Thursday evening.
Gyasi lasted 89 minutes and was replaced by Emmanuel Boateng in a game that saw two quick goals in the second half from either sides.
“The biggest dream for every football player is to reach the national team, this dream comes true only with hard work, humility and a lot of commitment. I am proud and proud to represent my country Ghana,” he wrote on social media.
“Once aspiration, now reality; synonymous with the fact that in life nothing is impossible, with dedication and perseverance, you can get anywhere,” he added.
