Hearts: Grant committed to club

Accra Hearts of Oak Sporting Club has indicated that Head Coach, Kim Grant, was fully committed to the club’s and urged fans to disregard report of him quitting.

According to the club, Coach Grant is currently on a short holiday in the Czech Republic and would return to duty post this week.

”The management of the Accra Hearts of Oak wishes to appeal to the general sporting public, especially the supporters to disregard all media reports making rounds that the club’s Director and first team Head Coach, Grant would not return to the club as technical head,” a statement signed by Public Relations Officer, Mr. Kwame Opare Addo stated.

The statement further disputed claims that, the coach was not happy with the departure of the club’s recent past Chief Executive Officer, Mark Noonan, as such reports is targeted at causing disunity.

”We wish to remind followers that Grant is committed to the Hearts project and delighted and ready to work with the new CEO, Frederick Moore, who has already had productive discussions with him to bring success to the Club,” the statement said. –GNA
