The current favourite to succeed Hansi Flick as the new manager of Germany is Julian Nagelsmann.
According to the BILD, Nagelsmann, who parted company with Bayern Munich in March of this year, is presently the front-runner to lead Germany. The German FA fired former coach Hansi Flick on Sunday after Germany suffered a humiliating loss to Japan in a friendly match.
While Nagelsmann is currently out of work, he is still contracted with Bayern Munich as his deal expires in 2026. If DFB wants to hire the German coach, Bayern are likely to demand compensation in the region of €10-15 million.
