GraceWorld Foundation, a Belgium-based Ghanaian non-governmental organisation has presented food and other items worth GHC10,000.00 to the inmates at the Sunyani Central Prisons and Dormaa Children’s Home in the Bono Region at separate ceremonies.
The items comprised second-hand clothing, assorted drinks, and boxes of bottled drinking water, and other edible items.
According to Reverend Charles Sarkodie, the Founder of the NGO, the Foundation was determined to ensure good living conditions for the inmates.

In an interview with the Ghana News Agency (GNA) on the side-lines of the separate presentation ceremonies in Sunyani and Dormaa-Ahenkro, Rev. Sarkodie said putting smiles on the faces of the inmates would make them feel part of the society.
“I think it’s the responsibility of us all to show love and compassion, put smiles on the faces of these innocent children to let them feel loved in the society”, he said and added that his Foundation was established to improve the socio-economic livelihoods of the less privileged, the needy, the marginalised and vulnerable in the society.
Madam Davida Boakyewaa Cobbina, the Manageress in charge of the Dormaa Children’s Home thanked the Foundation for the support and appealed for more assistance, both edible for the daily upkeep of the inmates and non-edible items such as sewing machine for vocational purposes.
