Former Kadjebi DCE presents pick-up vehicle to Akan NPP Parliamentary Candidate

Date:

Mr. Kofi Adjei Ntim, the former District Chief Executive for Kadjebi, has presented a brand-new pick-up vehicle fitted with sound system to the Akan New Patriotic Party (NPP) Parliamentary Candidate, Mr. Mustapha Tassah, to aid his campaign.

Engaging with the Ghana News Agency after the presentation at Kadjebi in the Oti Region, Mr. Adjei Ntim said his presentation was to aid the candidate in the campaign for him to win the seat.

The former DCE, who contested the seat in 2008 and 2016 polls, but lost to the National Democratic Congress (NDC) candidate on both occasions, said the “NPP has never win the Akan Parliamentary seat before, but unfortunately, 80 per cent of the development projects in the district has to do with the NPP administration.”

He said, however, the party’s votes keep appreciating and that in the 2020 polls, they garnered over 13,000 votes compared to the 500 votes the NPP polled in year 2000 election.

“This is the time to go for the cure and is the time for the NPP to win the Akan seat or never,” he added.

Mr. Adjei Ntim, also the Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Gratis Foundation, said as an ardent NPP man, he was duty bound to help win the seat for the first time.

He thus, appealed to the voters in the Constituency to appreciate the government’s numerous developmental projects in the Kadjebi district and vote massively for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the Vice-President and the NPP Flagbearer as President and Mr. Tassah as MP for Akan come December 7 to continue with the transformation agenda.

He also advised the party faithful to take the campaign to the nook and cranny of the constituency and canvass for votes for them to win convincibly.

Mr. Tassah, who is also a legal practitioner and former Assemblyman for Dodi-Atta Kofi Electoral Area in the Kadjebi district, on receiving the vehicle, thanked the benefactor for the support, saying it was difficult for people to support such a worthy cause.

He pledged to work assiduously to make sure that the Party wrestle the Seat from the NDC.
