Former Hearts defender “Joe Dakota” is dead

Mr. Jonathan Kpakpo Oti Ankrah – former captain of Accra Hearts of Oak is dead.
 
        Ankrah, 84, nicknamed “Joe Darkota” or “Afro Joe” died on Wednesday, April 7, 2020, in the United States of America (USA) after contracting coronavirus.
 
          Ankrah, passed away in Silver Spring, Maryland after weeks on admission at the hospital’s Internal Care Unit (ICU)
 
      Nicknamed Joe Dakota, he was one of the longest-serving captains of Hearts of Oak.
 
      Ankrah, relocated to the USA, after his career.
