Hearts of Oak midfielder, Gladson Awako has pleaded with fans of the club to forgive him after his long absence from the team.
Awako returned to training on Tuesday the club after more than two months out due to personal reasons.
The 32 year old signed from rivals Great Olympics in August but stopped training with the team before Hearts’ CAF Champions League tie against CI Kamsar back in September.
The midfielder has been out since, and is yet to kick a ball for the Phobians this season.

However, Awako was pictured in training on Tuesday morning, prompting suggestions he is back and ready to feature.
“The board and supporters of Hearts of Oak should forgive me and I will do my best for Hearts of Oak. I’m coming with a clean heart,” he said.
