Evaloe Adjomoro-Gwira NDC congratulates Elizabeth Dorcas Amoah

Date:

The Evalue-Ajomoro-Gwira Constituency Wing of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has extended its warm felicitations to Madam Elizabeth Dorcas Amoah on her appointment as the first female Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Nzema East.

According to the party, the “appointment of Dorcas Amoah is a step in the right direction especially, in the political and developmental dispensation of our municipality as the first woman MCE for the area”.

This was in a statement issued and signed by the Constituency Secretary, Mr John Abugri and copied to the Ghana News Agency.

The statement urged the nominee to ensure transparency and accountability in all her duties towards the advancement and well-being of the people.

“We encourage her to collaborate with all respective developmental stakeholders within the municipality especially, the Member of Parliament (MP) of the Evalue-Ajomoro-Gwira Constituency, Chiefs, Assembly members and agencies to herald the larger interest of all”.

The NDC also implored her to use her good office to unite and promote peace among the entire people of the municipality as a mother to help fight for the common goal for all.

The statement wished the President’s nominee well “in her new endeavours and pray for good health and divine leadership skills to move the municipality, which has been hobbling for the past four years into a more rapid development hub in the Western Region”.

Out of the 14 MDCEs in the Western Region, Madam Amoah and Ms Louisa Iris Arde of the Jomoro Municipal Assembly are the only females.
