Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is reportedly making bold moves to bring Crystal Palace star Eberechi Eze to the Emirates. Eze, who had an impressive 2023/24 season with 17 goal contributions in 31 matches, has caught the attention of top Premier League clubs, including Chelsea and Liverpool.
Sources suggest that Arsenal is the frontrunner in the race to sign Eze, with Arteta prepared to offload Emile Smith Rowe and Reiss Nelson to make room for the talented playmaker.
Journalist Simon Phillips confirmed Arsenal’s strong interest: “Arsenal are ‘seriously interested’ in signing Eze, and they are looking to move out players like Emile Smith Rowe and Reiss Nelson to make room and get Eze in.”
Despite Arsenal’s aggressive pursuit, Chelsea and Liverpool remain in contention for Eze, who is valued at around £60m. Phillips noted that “pretty much every top club in Europe is now looking at and considering Eze, including Chelsea and Liverpool.”
