Alhaji Haruna retains Wenchi constituency parliamentary seat for NDC.

Mr Alhaji Seidu Haruna, the National Democratic Congress (NDC)’s incumbent Member of Parliament (MP) for the Wenchi constituency in the Bono Region retained the seat for the party in the parliamentary elections. 
 
He polled 26,549 votes to beat his two challengers, Mr Kojo Frempong, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Parliamentary Candidate who had 20,942 votes, and Mr David Kusi, an Independent Candidate who secured 191 votes, as contained in the Electoral Commission (EC)’s certified results on the parliamentary elections.
