Abraham Neequaye is the new President of the Ghana Boxing Association

Mr. Abraham Kotei Neequaye has been elected the new President of the Ghana Boxing Authority (GBA) for the next four years.

He takes over from Mr. Peter Zwennes who completed his full eight-year term having assumed the mantle back in 2013.

Mr. Kotei Neequaye polled 54 votes at the Congress held on Thursday at the Bukom Boxing Arena to beat off competition from Dr. Henry Mainly Spain former Vice President of the Association who accumulated 46 votes.

He would be assisted by Rabbon Duodo (Vice President), Roger Bannor (2nd Vice President) and Laud Acquaye (Treasurer) who went unopposed in their respective positions.

Members elected as Executive Members include Johnny Gordon, Micheal Neequaye, Lawrence Carl Lokko, and Alhaji Toffiq.

Mr. Patrick Johnson still remains the General Secretary of the Association
