NPP parliamentary primary: These NPP parliamentarians are going unopposed

Date:

On January 27, 2024, delegates of the ruling New Patriotic Party will cast ballots to choose parliamentary candidates to represent the party in a number of constituencies prior to the general elections in December.

The party has already chosen candidates for parliamentary office in areas known as “orphan constituencies,” or those in which it does not have a sitting member of parliament. It has also set January 27 as the date for primary elections in constituencies that it won in the 2020 election.
