According to The Athletic, Manchester United and Barcelona have reached an agreement for a fixed fee of €75 million (£63 million, $75 million) for Frenkie de Jong.
Additionally, United is anticipated to pay an additional €10 million (£8.47 million, $10 million).
The signing of De Jong is Erik ten Hag’s primary objective this summer.
They must now convince De Jong to move to Old Trafford and come to a personal deal with the Dutchman.

- Dembele accepts a pay cut to stay at Camp Nou and signs a two-year contract extension with Barcelona.
The transaction is still being hampered by the €17 million deferred salary payment from Barcelona that the 25-year-old Jong is due.
De Jong joined Barcelona from Ajax in 2019 for £86 million, and he has since made nearly 100 league appearances for the Catalan club.
However, Barcelona’s financial situation meant De Jong’s future was in jeopardy, with £1 billion in debt and strict controls on recruitment and spending.
De Jong was a shining star in Ten Hag’s Ajax side that reached the Champions League semi-finals in 2018-19.
