Members of the Volta Regional chapter of the Ghana National Tailors and Dressmakers Association (GNTDA) have been urged to implore creativity in the fashion industry.
The idea was to enable members of the Association brand their talent well to draw recommendations instead of belittling themselves.
Mr Reuben Another Abonu, the Volta Regional Chairman of the Association, made the appeal during their Annual Regional Executives meeting at Akatsi in the Akatsi South Municipality of the Volta Region.
He urged the artisans to abreast themselves with new ideas in the industry and to continue learning to upgrade themselves.

Mr Adonu also tasked members to make the difference in their field of work by adhering to the ethics of customer care for the success of their work.
“You must also adjust yourselves to push you to meet the outside market,” he added.
The one-day event, which was held at the Assembly hall of the Akatsi Senior High Technical School (AKAST), saw all the regional executives including past and current, as well as those from the twenty five (25) Zones in the Region in attendance.
The meeting also discussed the Association’s preparedness towards this year’s national 40th anniversary celebration and congress, which would be held in November at University of Ghana, Legon.
